Coached by a former professional rugby player
Aaron Purewal spent eight years in professional rugby, coming through Scotland’s age-grade system and going on to play sevens for Scotland, Great Britain and Bordeaux.
In each of those high-performance environments he saw what separates good players from great ones: strength and conditioning, nutrition, recovery and mindset all working from the same plan. Rugby 360 takes the best of each set-up and puts it into one programme, coached by him.
Rugby 360 explained
Aaron explains who he is, why he built Rugby 360 and how it helps players move up from club to representative and international rugby.

Rugby 360 Parents
Every review here comes from a Rugby 360 player or their parents, as shared on our Instagram.
For the past two years, my son has been a part of Rugby 360 Performance, and I can confidently say it has been an outstanding experience. This programme goes beyond just teaching the skills of the game; it instils a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to excel as an athlete.
Aaron emphasises the importance of hard work behind the scenes. He covers essential aspects such as nutrition, recovery and mental resilience, which has been critical for Blair’s success with the programme. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the growth of each athlete.
If you’re looking to elevate your child’s performance and overall understanding of the sport, I highly recommend Rugby 360 Performance.
Our son has been working with Aaron since the start of 2024. During this time we have seen a huge transformation in his focus, fitness and discipline, both on and off the field.
He played well in his game. He was dominant in the tackle and effective at the ruck. He is loads stronger and fitter going into the season. Even his teammates are saying how much pace he has.
A professional and truly personalised experience at Rugby 360. Using real-time data, Aaron has guided and supported my son, elevating his game through club and regional rugby. Regular check-ins kept us forward-focused and 1-1 sessions drilled specifically into technical development.
Pulling on a wealth of industry experience, Aaron has guided, shaped and challenged CJ to develop all aspects of the game, from nutrition, psychology and S&C, creating lifelong healthy habits.
We are incredibly grateful to Rugby 360 and Aaron for sharing his passion for the sport with CJ.
My experience with Aaron has been invaluable for my development as a rugby player, teaching me to develop better habits which are translating onto the pitch.
The one-to-one catch-up sessions add so much value. Our son has been able to discuss what is and isn’t working, which allowed Aaron to quickly reassess and adjust the programme, including around study time and exams.
Aside from everything rugby related, what gives us as parents the most joy is the change in his attitude, general demeanour and confidence.
These last few months we have not only seen the physical changes of weight loss and strength gains, but an enthusiasm for training that he never had before.
Aaron is a fantastic communicator and listener who is able to quickly interpret the current situation and then create a detailed dietary and fitness plan that allows structure to deliver lasting results.
Aaron creates an environment where we have been able to openly discuss growth areas for our son, and understand how a structured daily routine is key to supporting his education and sport.
Aaron’s guidance and training has let me compete at National 1, 2 and 3 without any drastic changes to my life. He’s made me far more disciplined with my training.
